Bullseye Pistol - 2011 Summer Season

EVERY WEDNESDAY, May 11 through August 10.

Time: First Relay at 1800 (6 PM). Second Relay at 1900 (7 PM). Two gun match: .22 cal. and center-fire pistol. 

In lieu of trophies, Fun Shoot August 10, followed by league banquet. For information contact:

• Slow Fire at 50 Yards

• Timed and Rapid Fire at 25 Yards with turning targets

• Cost is $40 for 10 of 14 matches. (Season)

• Must have valid CT State Pistol Permit.

*Those shooting .22 only: scores will not be sent to NRA.

Falling Plate Matches - 2011 Summer Season

The matches will be conducted the last Tuesday of each month April 26 to September 27, starting at 5:30pm.

Late shooters will be able to catch-up.

• Ammo:  Lead and plated bullets are preferred.
• Shot timer records all shots required to knock-down 5-8" steel plates.
• Two Classes:  Centerfire and Rimfire pistols used at each match.
• No experience necessary
• Must have valid CT State Pistol Permit.

Frostbite Matches - 2011/2012 Season (Quick-Pass the hand warmers!)

Frostbite matches will be held the last Sunday of the Month. 

November 27, 2011 through April 29, 2012. 

  "Squad-ing" at 9:00 AM; Shooting time is 10:00 AM.  The match is open to all rifle shooting. 

  A light lunch will be served.  Cost:  $10.

Ham Shoot - 2011 - Cancelled due to no event chairman

The East Windsor Sportsman's Club will hold a Ham Shoot every Sunday March 27, 2011 through Sunday, April 10, 2011.

• Time is 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Bell City Small Bore Prone Rifle Matches - 2011 Summer Season

• Held at East Windsor Sportsman's Club as a satellite of the Bell City Match

• Results are combined from participating ranges

Two-Gun Action Rimfire League - 2011

THIRD SATURDAY of each month, March 19 – October 15 (except September 17). 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Shooting conducted at the Pistol Port. Ammunition: .22 cal. long rifle only. [No .22 Mag, .22 WRF, .17 HMR, or

.17 H2]. All Shooting will begin “from the table”, but handgun holsters are encouraged. Courses of fire vary

each month and include scenarios for both .22 rifle and pistol. Targets include IDPA cardboard type, steel

plates, and bowling pins. Matches scored either IDPA style (time plus dropped points or penalties), or man-onman

“sudden death”. Rifles with tubular magazines are allowed providing: a “speed loading device” is used; all

rounds in the magazine must be fired until the rifle is empty in order to “unload and show clear”, for both

safety and to keep the match moving. EYE AND EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE, WHETHER

SHOOTING OR NOT. Match fees: $5 for EWSC members; $10 for non-members. Helpers shoot free. EWSC

Working Members shoot free and time worked counts toward required work hours. EVENT DIRECTOR: Kris

May 21st will be run as a man on man format with a total of 16 targets for each shooter to take down.
